Bourbon Caesar cocktail with loaded garnish and spiced rim.
Brunch just grew a backbone. Smoky bourbon, bold Caesar rim, and enough garnish to count as a meal - this isn't your average Sunday sip.

Bourbon Caesar Recipe (Smoky Twist on a Canadian Classic)

Smoky. Savoury. A little dangerous.

What Happens When Bourbon Meets a Caesar?

You take a perfectly respectable Canadian icon... and give it a backbone.

Swapping vodka for bourbon brings a smoky, slightly sweet depth that plays real nice with the savoury kick of a proper Caesar. Add a bold rim, load it up with garnish, and suddenly brunch just turned into a full-contact sport.

Ingredients

1.5 oz bourbon

3-4 oz Caesar mix (like Clamato)

2-3 dashes Worcestershire sauce

2-3 dashes hot sauce (dealer's choice)

1/2 tsp horseradish

Dash lime juice

Jerry's Faves Caesar Pleaser (Original or Hellfire Edition, depending on how brave you are)

Garnish Ideas:

Celery stalk

Pickle spear

Olives

Crispy bacon

Peperroni stick

Pickled asparagus (or anything pickled really)

Prawns

Directions

  1. Rim the glass like you mean it Run a lime wedge around the rim and dunk into your Caesar Pleaser. Make sure the rim is nice and thick.

  2. Build it in the glass Fill with ice. Add bourbon, Worcestershire, hot sauce, horseradish and lime.

  3. Top it off Pour in Clamato and give it a gently stir. Don't overthink it - this isn't a science fair.

  4. Garnish like a legend

Stack it high. If it looks ridiculous, you're doing it right.

Pro Tips

  • Pick your bourbon wisely: Something smooth, not overly sweet. You want a smoky swagger, not dessert.

  • Balance is king: Too much bourbon = cowboy mistake. Too little = why bother.

  • Cold matters: Ice it down properly. Warm Caesars are a crim.

Let me know how you like to make your Caesar's, I can't wait to try them out!

Cheers!
